Professor Julie Leask recognised in Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence awards

NCIRS Professorial Fellow Professor Julie Leask has been recognised as an awardee in the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence Awards for 2019 in the global category for her contribution to research of the social and behavioural aspects of vaccination.

Professor Leask is a social scientist and is currently Professor at The University of Sydney, Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery. She previously set up the Social Science Unit at NCIRS and is the founding chair of the Collaboration on Social Science in Immunisation. Professor Leask also holds formal roles with the World Health Organization (WHO) as the Chair of the WHO Measuring Behavioural and Social Drivers (BeSD) of Vaccination Working Group.
