NCIRS is located in the Kids Research building, situated next door to The Children's Hospital at Westmead (refer to map).

Our primary role in Australia is to provide expert technical immunisation advice to government. We operate independently of the Australian Government Department of Health.

We are unable to provide patient-specific medical advice via email. Please visit your General practitioner (GP) to discuss your specific clinical situation.

Healthcare providers are advised to contact the appropriate immunisation specialist service in your state if additional clinical support is required.

By taxi

If travelling by taxi, direct the driver to drop you at the front entrance of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is a short walking distance from Westmead Station (approx. 1km). If you require further information visit Transport for NSW.

By car

Limited paid public parking including disabled parking is available in the Children's Hospital Medical Centre / visitor’s car park.
