Advice for clinicians: Paediatric Inflammatory Multisystem Syndrome Temporally associated with SARS-COV-2 (PIMS-TS)

A clinical advice statement on Paediatric Inflammatory Multisystem Syndrome Temporally associated with SARS-COV-2 (PIMS-TS), developed by the Paediatric Active Enhanced Disease Surveillance (PAEDS) network, has been released. The statement has been endorsed by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). The PAEDS network is coordinated by the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS). 

The statement provides information on what is known about PIMS-TS; similarities between PIMS-TS and Kawasaki disease and Toxic Shock Syndrome; recommendations for management of patients with possible PIMS-TS; and who to contact if clinicians need further information.
