Strong immunisation programs save lives, advance health and wellbeing, strengthen economies and promote social and economic equity. They enable the detection and prevention of – as well as rapid responses to – vaccine preventable disease. Since 2019, we have expanded our work in partnership with countries in the Asia Pacific and at the global level.Our growing program of work supports the goals of the World Health Organization’s Immunization agenda 2030: a global strategy to leave no one behind. Funding and governance Our global health work is enabled through strategic funding and long-term partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. We work collaboratively with governments, multilateral agencies and partners to strengthen immunisation systems and improve health outcomes. Supporting COVID-19 vaccine access in the region We worked closely with the Australian Government and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to support planning, implementation and monitoring of COVID-19 vaccination rollout programs. Supporting middle-income countries to improve immunisation outcomes in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Partnering with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in-country ministries of health and local collaborators to support immunisation policy and programs in Fiji, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.
